I wish I could give this place a 20 out of 5. For $12 I got a nice sized cast iron skillet filled with beans, scrambled eggs, sasauges, bacon and ham. Also toast, fruit and melted chocolate was part of that combo. The place was very clean, server was very awesome and they even had free wifi. Hell, I didn't... More

Popped in here on a snowy April day for a hot chocolate, and found a huge list of options on which type of chocolate to use. The end result and good, if a bit too much. The atmosphere is pretty basic, like a coffee shop.

Had breakfast here on a Saturday. It was good. The table side Smores were fun. The veggie omelet was tasty, but the potatoes are kind of "been there, done that" so nothing exciting. The food on the whole was decent and would go back, but it needs a face lift and the workman fixing the door was annoying. Very nice... More

I went there with a friend on a study date and we shared the Smore's Pizza, which was simply incredible! You can tell the chocolate is high quality. We were served by Alize, who was very kind and caring for our needs. The ambiance was very nice, the unicorn on the wall is a nice touch! Will definitely come back!

A decent cafe with lots of specialty chocolate treats and some specialty drinks. The place was clean with a few tables and a friendly staff. Decent menu and prices were ok.

Went for breakfast and chocolate. I had the Blue Omelette and my friend the Managers Special. Great food, but even better was the chocolate. It came in a brandy snifter and you mix with more chocolate! Sinful! Loved it!

In 2015 the place had line ups, a year later the place is nearly abandoned. The service and quality of the food has gotten so bad. What happened? Who knows...it's definitely no longer happening. Go to C'Chocolat on Bishop instead!

OMG...so much chocolate, so little time. This place is chocolate heaven. We ordered a fondue that came with strawberries, bananas, little chocolate crisps, dark chocolate dip, chocolate sipping chocolate (you can't just sip it...I wanted to guzzle it...but I restrained myself). It also comes with waffles and vanilla ice cream. The menu is in French, so I can't tell you... More

Was in Montreal for a girls weekend and this restaurant was 3 blocks from where we were staying. All of it was amazing. We tried 2 sweet meals and 1 savory crepe for dinner one night. All of it was amazing. Has a great little patio on St. Catherine Street, which was perfect for people watching.

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
