We eat here last year and planning to come back soon this year. Is a little cute restaurant in my neighborhood. The tapas were really good, service nice and we've got the beat table near the window. I think the best time is a late afternoon when is quiet.

Went here as a last resort and was more than pleasantly surprised. Waiters were friendly and accommodated our rush. Very friendly and the food was great. If you don't like cilantro, don't forget to ask!

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast here while our washing/ drying was underway at the laundromat. Food was fresh and very tasty. Delicious fruit, orange juice , a spinach omelette and fried eggs with beans and all the Mexican trimmings. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. Restaurant is clean and light with some Mexican groceries and jewellery available for purchase.... More

I went here for brunch one Sunday. Had seats outside so that was nice. The food was good and the coffee is free with free reffils, which is nice. Like other Montreal restaurants it can be pricey, and the service is slow.

Good place for authentic Mexican food! The plates are perfect size and super flavourful! The service can be a little slow if they are busy, but usually it's always with a smile so it doesn't matter. If you go, make sure you get a margarita because they are the best ever.

My favourite Mexican restaurant in Montreal. Delicious food, friendly service, great ambiance. I stared to enjoy mole after I had it here. Fajitas cooked to perfection. Tortilla soup highly recommended. Don't leave before you try the desserts, order the impossiblé - moist chocolate cake topped with flan! Try the carrot cake too - trust me on this one!

We came here after a long drive from Toronto, it was close to where we stayed. We were sat for quite a while before anyone came to bring us a menu, or ask about drinks. The food was really tasty when it came, and the server was nice when he was serving.

I went for brunch with my friend, who was highly enthused. I did not regret it. The food was good, and our hot chocolates even better. Very authentic with very good service. I would go again.

This is a quaint little place with great food, even is not cooked on the restaurant (i was told is made by a mexican woman outside the place). The chips and guacamole are delicious. I highly recomend "sopa azteca". Perfect place in downtown Montreal.

My friend and I were visiting Montreal over the weekend and found this place by coincidence. The brunch was very tasty and the service was friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the experience very much.

Staying in The Village (Gay Village)

Neighbourhood Profile
The Village (Gay Village)
The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party spot, The Village comes alive at night, when clubs, bars, and dance halls open their doors and the revelry is high, epitomised by the fanciful trimmings of the apropos Oscar Wilde building. From May to September, the area closes to automotive traffic, allowing restaurant terraces to pour onto the streets, creating a dynamic sense of community. Les Boules Roses, thousands of pink baubles, are hung to welcome in the festivals and celebrations, including Montréal en Arts, Divers-Cité, and the Pride Parade.
