If you are like me and love poutine, this is a great place! Located in Old Montreal it is a great place for lunch! I have only eaten the poutine here and it is great! I enjoyed it with both spicy Italian sausage and smoked meat. If you find yourself there on a warm day, get a table outside in... More

Perfect spot to have a quick bite for poutine. I've had it at a few other well rated spots and this one was top notch. Service was fast and hit the spot for my poutine craving.

Don't go here if you want anything other than poutine. If you are with a group and anyone in the group wants to eat healthy and order a salad, it's not worth it. Vegetables are not the freshest. I can't imagine a lot of people are ordering salad here. Stick with poutine :)

Went for lunch. They took a long time to take our order. They were having system issues, apparently. Took a really long time to get food, a poutine and a smoked meat sandwich. Poutine was good. Sandwich was tiny for $12 and the rye bread was not fresh. Took a long time to get our bill too. Not impressed.

My son and I stopped in today for lunch after our visit to the museum of science. We were seated in the far corner , very small table for 2. My son is 6'3", needless to say, he was very uncomfortable. We were privileged to listen to the dishes being dumped in the bin as well as bad music being... More

By the looks of it, I would say tha they are taking advantage of the good reputation of other restaurants specialising in Poutine. Unlike their competitor, they only have the choice of 6 or 7 poutines, and I would strogly suggest to avoir the Smoked Meat Sandwich which is probably 1/4 of the size of what it shoukd be..... Not... Bad, slow service. Waited exactly 40 minutes for simple poutine. Poutine came out to be really average. Find somewhere better!

We came here out of convenience being a bit too far from any other poutine place downtown. The poutine was ok but not great. The sauce they used was not particularly good. My husband had the smoke meat sandwich and that was a complete rip off. It was $17, was tiny, and wasn't all that good. For smoke meat there... More

So the food was fine. A decent poutine. my fiance and I left a tip for our waitress but my 14 year old exchange student did not, and the waitress shamed her for it until I told her to leave my teenager alone. What the hell is that? Yes, it is customary to leave a tip. But, if a 14... More

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighbourhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its centre, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theatre.
