After reading a few reviews, I decided to go here tonight. The reviewer who mentioned not to let the facade fool you piqued my interest. As I approached the address, a familiar VCR repair sign above the door way reminded me that I had been...More

Let me start off by saying that by any normal standard, the food here was good. When I say that the food was just okay, I'm essentially comparing it my experiences dinning at 3 star Michelin restaurants, because that's the level that the restaurant is...More

Well prepared fresh food, great service, and fair process. Excellent oysters presented nicely, pasta and very good, great bread, delicious venison, and outstanding scallops. Nice ambiance. Wine list was a little pricey and wanting.

Visited Bouillon Bilk on November 11th to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Reservations are quite tough to come by so be prepared to book early! Started off with a Gin & Tonic cocktail, with their tonic made in-house... didn’t disappoint so be sure to try. Between...More

It is a popular restaurant so make reservations. The food was excellently prepared, nothing exotic but done in a way I hadn't see before, the vegetables we sliced with a mandoline so they were paper thin. I wish I could tell what the spicing was...More

A popular place (always a good sign) with simple but elegant furnishing. We had the "tasting menu", the Bilks answer to the Japanese 'kaiseki' style dinner (small, beautiful, exquisitely crafted plates). I have to agree it was delicious. The wine (a Bordeaux) was superb, as...More

Hi, The portion size is indeed a bit smaller but that’s normal for French cuisine... my husband and I ordered an appetizer and an entree each. I was full and he was alright. In my opinion, it’s still worth a try! :)

I didn't see any kids the evening we were there, and it's definitely not a hot-dog-and-chicken-fingers kind of establishment. However, if the kids have fine-dining experience, are well-behaved and not super-picky eaters, I... More
