I had been to this place before (gave it two stars) and wasn't impressed, since it does promote itself as a British chippie. If you go in, however, with a mindset of getting some good Canadian fish and chips (fries aren't as crisp, for example)...More

No resistance to the fish! The fish cooked tender. The chips is wonderful . Both match very well. And they refill my coke again and again.

UNDER COOKED HADDOCK AND OVER COOKED CHIPS. We did enjoy the beer though. Burgundy Lion Ale was enjoyable. i'm sure based on reviews that this was an exception. There are not many ways to screw up Fish & Chips in a Fish and chips shop.

I had the lunch special fish and chips with a beer. Good value. The fish was good, not excellent. Service was good.

Really tasty cod & haddock. Sausage rolls and pickled onions were delicious. Was able to buy some Sarson’s malt vinegar too. Major thumbs up for this place.

Looking for the best fish & chips in Montreal, look no further 'cause this is the place!! It's always packed at lunch hour (probably is at dinner time too). But well worth the stop! I'll go back for sure!

The menu is varied and the fish and chips average. The salmon is good and the service is quick and friendly. Tables can be busy so one may have to share which enables one to mix with others.
