A must go and return ! The food, the service, the staff, the chef. All awesome. A quaint little restaurant closely tied to their big sister Da Emma in old Montreal. Just as good and an unbelievable wine list. Love everything there. Including the rustic look and feel.

Unfortunately, this restaurant is only a bleach impression of the Italian food. It is utterly expensive, and the food quality is way below what one can find in Italy. There are way better Italian restaurants in Montreal, particularly around Marche Jean Talon (Tre Marie, Roberto, ...). We went twice for dinner, and both times we paid a lot (which we... More

We came from the other side of town to find this hidden jewel. The restaurant is very romantic. We listened to recommandations and had the burrata, the osso buco and the tiramisu, everything was very good. Thank you for the great time and excellent service.

Located in a real pearl- an ancient house - Armando offers real delicate Italian cuisine. the small dining halls, each one in a separate room, gives a real home feeling. The menu is Italian, with all the great dishes. We had Roman Artichokes in olive oil, capreze salad with real Buratta cheese, and an Italian red wine, Chianti-style. For mains... More

Great Ristorante Italiano, typical Italian food. Nice and cozy, small restaurant with a lot to offer.

The dining area divided into small rooms, made for a great atmosphere to enjoy the delicious food we were served by an A1 waiter, Mario. In our party of 4 we started with soup or salad and one of went all out and chose the octopus salad. All excellent. We each enjoyed the lamb shank, the steak, the lasagna and the... More

We happened upon this place in Mt. Royal, as we're not from Montréal; our son was training at AMG Tennis Academy nearby. What a wonderful experience. The lentil soup, Salmon Salad and Salmon main courses were all brought quickly and was exactly what we wanted; perfectly cooked salmon on both entrées. The desert was a créme caramel which was just... More

The Villa Armando is a beautiful restaurant that has a very charming & sophisticated lay-out. I couldn’t help but be impressed during my first visit to this lovely property. It was obvious to me that this restaurant was very well maintained - even the bathrooms were beautiful & in stellar condition (as I later discovered). From the exterior, I noticed... More

I really loved the decoration in each room and the friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a quiet dinner among friends or a quiet date night. They have a great selection of wine and delicious pasta dishes. Though my favorite dish was the gnocchi :) ...I left full and wanting to come back for more!

Looking for a restaurant for dinner close to our VRBO rental, we found Villa Armando. What a lovely place, located in a gorgeous stone house. The menu featured many appetizers and salads, along with a selection of meat, fish, and pastas. There were also several special menu items. The outdoor veranda was open, so we chose to eat there. It... More
