This is a bijou little place in Old Montreal serving a mix of Italian and Spanish food done in with local, Canadian ingredients. As described by the friendly and enthusiastic staff, some dishes sounded over-complicated in the usual North American way (use 10 ingredients when...More

The location is great on Old Montreal's cobble street (St-Paul). Decor is the real thing built couple of hundrd years ago, stones & wooden beams. The food was exquisite and a nice wine selection. Will be back!

We wore business casual. However, there were several other people who were wearing suits. It's definitely not a shorts & crop tops place.

At Barroco you can expect to enjoy inspired French Mediterranean fare in a warm and cozy atmosphere. With its dim lighting, stone walls and inspired decor, we offer fine dining that is chic but certainly not stuffy! Our friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff will do everything to make sure your experience is a memorable and enjoyable one. Reservations are highly recommended as our small 45-seat dining room tends to fill up quickly! We'll be happy to speak to you on the phone or you can head over to Bookenda to book a table. Looking forward to seeing you!
