I cannot overstate how great this place is. When I first visited Montreal two years ago, I stumbled upon this bakery. Since then, I have not found a bakery that makes Kouign Amann like they do. If you are in town, I highly highly highly...More
I read many positive reviews before going and was really excited about trying their stuff. Apart from the kouign amman that was really good, the chocolate croissant and hot chocolate that we ordered were just average. If you plan to dine in, do note that...More
Best croissants in Montreal by far, even better when you dip them in their soup :) The raspberry juice is amazing as well!

If you're like me and you like to try different local bakeries when you're travelling, then this place is a must. I tried a bit of many or their pastries, but the almond croissant was to die for!

Just had my first visit to Au Kouign Amann and had the namesake pastry. It was warm, moist, slightly caramelized and sweet. Like no other pastry I’ve ever had but it was safely within my top 3 pastry experiences. I will definitely come back next...More
On a chilly November morning we stopped in for a chocolat chaud and cafe along with heavenly Kouign Amann. This is one of the finest little (and it IS small!) patisseries we have ever found. In the heart of the Plateau.
Had the kouign amann, different shape from others I've had elsewhere but very tasty. Will return to try the croissants which looked amazing. The hot chocolate was milky but tasty.
