Don't let the name fool you...this is an Irish pub. They have Guinness and Harp beer...my husband was happy. The food is good pub fare...prepared well and tasty.

Interesting place. Service was very good. Didn't eat, so can't remark on the food. Drinks were very good. Seemed like a local happy hour crowd while we were there. Gives you the feel of every day Montreal folks.

I've recently visited this Pub with my friend based on his recommendation. We arrived shortly after 5 pm on Friday and the place was half-full already. The place itself kind of reminds me an irish pub, I don't know why (maybe because of the bar style). We were greeted by friendly waitress, who switched into English with no hassles almost... More

We definitely found a diamond in the rough with this place. Simple, good beer, great service (thanks Karen) and excellent food. Try the wings definitely not typical buffalo style but really good. No ranch or blue cheese required! We also had the steak and frites and were not disappointed. No it's not a 5 star establishment with a French chef... More

Stopped for a beverage and fries. Beer selection could be better and the caesar was drab but the fries are some of the best I've ever had!

Great Irish pub specializing in Irish beers located near Old Montreal near the Notre Dame Basilica. So many excellent choices in Montreal but I'm always attracted to an authentic Irish Pub. Great terraced outside seating, friendly quick service . One tip share the pouiton -the portion can easily feed three hungry travelers. Tasty homemade chips/ fries and fresh delicious Caesar... This pub has a huge terrace in a cool location. It's surrounded by modern condos to peruse while you enjoy a pint. There are lots of tables with umbrellas, and greenery around the outside. Staff were really friendly.

Hi, we were 8 colleagues to have lunch and an irish refreshment for St. Patty’s day. The atmosphere is nice, cozy and convenient to the old montreal sector of town. Everyone enjoyed their meals from hamburgers, steak & fries, sausages and fish & chips. Large selection of irish beer and service was very good. Will surely return for other lunch... More

I reserved a section of the pub for a group of 20 for a work event. We had the section by the front door, which has room next to the window for backpacks and coats. The server was friendly and very organized. Our boss paid for the first round; she opened 1 bill, took all the orders and closed it,... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
