The restaurant was recommended by our hotel. We waited 45 minutes to be seated but well worth it. The food and the service was great. We had the panini egg sandwich and palmier. The restaurant has old Montreal character. The wait staff was great

The panini's are so good that we visited here twice during our stay. It is very busy so both times we just ended up getting it to go.

Had a very nice lunch but not quite sure it was worth the long wait. Delicious Cubain sandwich which was really big enough for two if you buy some chips too. Goes nice with a glass of bubbly!

Just walked in off the street to an excellent lunch spot. The ham and cheese salad was superb as was the cold soup of the day! I will go back if I'm ever in Montreal again!

I would agree that about 15 minutes would get you there. The restaurant can be very crowded so be prepared to wait in line.

Yes, olive y gourmando is open for brunch. There aren't many tables. I ate at a bar facing the windows. Be prepared to wait for a seat on Sunday's. The food is worth the wait!

I would assume you are referring to Montreal City Hall which is in the old city....this restaurant is about a 15 minute leisurely walk west on Rue St. Paul Ouest. Enjoy. Andres
