The Old Dublin Pub is right downtown. It's near the Confederation Court Mall, the Confederation Centre of Arts, Province House, shops, the waterfront and the various hotels in the downtown district. You can definitely take a bus downtown & get off in front of the Confederation Centre, and walk 3-5 minutes to the pub. It has several styles of venue... More

We went expecting lots of lovely folk ballads but instead got really loud music that was really American music - not Irish or Scottish. Disappointed

Went for oyster happy hour for a $1.. Now that's a deal! And it was good. However expect to pay a good amount of money with alcohol. Canada is an expensive place. And the tax for food and drink? 14%!!! Whoa!! Just be mindful what you order as you can rack up a hefty bill

Super place to stop for a drink and stay for dinner. Great Big screen TV for games. The crowd was friendly and wait staff attentive. The one negative was several flights of stairs to get to the pub. Still a wonderful experience.

We had a group out for dinner. Everyone's dinner came at the same time and was hot. The lobster dinner was good and the seafood stew was great. We left before the music started

We stopped in on Friday eve. of Labor Day weekend, and it was sooooo busy, but we lucked out and got a two-top right away. People of all ages kept pouring in the door, and it had a lively and upbeat feel. Excellent, friendly service, delicious food (the fish tacos were excellent, served with a great salad) and we tasted... More

We came in for a late lunch so we were seated quickly and ordered immediately (we were hungry). I had the Blarney burger and my spouse had the Paddy burger. The food was served hot and quickly and was phenomenal. Each bite of our burgers made us want more. The sundried blueberries and almonds with a poppy seed dressing on... More

We came for dinner the opening weekend of Old Home Week and did not have to wait very long (other restaurants in the area had very long waiting lists). We had a great dinner while watching Olympic women's soccer, and didn't have to wait too long for food despite how busy they were. They were able to accommodate my Celiac... More

This is your typical maritime Pub at its best! Good Pub food (fish & chips, burgers, traditional meat pies etc.), and a happy hour every day on their oysters! 4-6pm only a buck a piece! Staffers are friendly, fast and efficient and the Pub has an easy air about it, not a hipster wannabe locale.
