Went there for a quick bite to eat before going to a show. Our server was so awesome. Glad he suggested the large margarita. I had the capital and they avocado. Mango, cucumber salad, not sure of the name, but it was really fresh and tasty.

A Mexican restaurant that is nice - though a bit noisy to my taste- went with family members and we had various dishes: good but some were too spicy to taste the food, and portions were not very large. Service casual , ok but nothing outstanding; it is a bit disappointing when you know other places that are Mexican authentic... More

My sister and I went on a busy Friday without a reservation, so in fairness the fact they even found us a table was impressive. And having eaten at Milagro now a few times I can say the food is consistently excellent! We each had a tequila flight too and that was tasty and fun. The servers were knowledgeable and... More

We had a craving for ceviche. They have three kinds there, I had the non octopus kind (the other two had it). The margaritas were ok, could have had less ice and more drink in it for the cost. 2 tacos with shrip were excellent, good flavour. The place was close to TIFF as we were taking in a movie... More

We only had appies and drinks and while delicious the prices were extravagant for Mexican. $17 for a large margarita, and 16.50 for ceviche is crazy. The small guacamole was $9.50. ALL were delicious and I noted that the main courses were reasonably priced. The place appeared very popular so I am assuming the main courses must be good as... More

Took a large group. Some were surprised to learn the difference between fine real Mexican cuisine and Tex mex. The food was delicious and service was great. Loved it! Good choices for vegetarians.

This is some of the best Mexican food I have ever had outside, and possibly inside, Mexico. Stumbled on this restaurant while on a quick stopover in Toronto. It really made the stopover great to find this gem!

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
