It is a nice place to go. Service also is good. I ordered a seefood pasta and it was delicious. The only thing I don't like - the fork and knife were not clean. I needed to use my fabric napkin to clean them.

Decided to feed kiddies after a day in downtown. Made a huge mistake ordering burgers for them. One came with undercooked rib steak, another with mummified burger that still carried tremendous amount of dried fat. Have to admit, my Mediterranean chicken was decent, but $20+ for a very dry fatty burger is just wrong. Waiter was pleasant but failed to... More

Daughter wanted to celebrate my BD by taking me, and her dad, out to eat. We had been at an event with appies and drinks in the area.We had to walk and it was freezing. This Milestones had "been there" for us, a haven, last year when hubby & I were out in the cold pouring rain so we decided... More

This location seems to have faded over the last 5 years or so. It used to be more vibrant, cleaner, had a better menu options, and the food also seemed better. Now the place seems fairly mediocre. I don't know if you could even call it a "steakhouse" anymore. I may try whatever place is across the street next time... More

We came here after catching a show at the Princess of Wales theatre. It was a Tuesday night at around 10pm and we knew that it was getting near closing time. They sat us in the bar area as the restaurant area was closed. It was no problem at all however the tables were a bit uncomfortable for the older... More

Our second visit to this location Service was good and helpful as was with the previous visit, this time I was torn between what I had last time prime rib sandwich which was great or the steak frites so I opted to try the frites for a change. This was very succulent indeed and didn't really need the steak knife... More

Been to milestones many times over the years. Last two visits have been very disappointing. Prices have increased and portions decreased. The pesto chicken with penne was a small portion with about 5 tiny chicken pieces. Pasta tasted old and the sauce was very salty. Service was good - but the decor is starting to look drab and dated. Think... More

I arrived at 5:10pm. It took the waiter a while get to me and when I was done it took him also a while to get back to me. I had a pot of tea and the chicken pesto Asiago. The total with tax came to $24.30. The chicken pasta came with a few chunks of chicken, spinach and tomato.... More

My colleague and I were on town for business and dropped in here on a whim. It looked warm and inviting on a cold blustery late afternoon. We arrived before it got busy. The server was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the servings were very generous. Good value. Would definitely come again the next time I'm... More

Unfortunately, Milestones is a hit and miss restaurant. We've had some decent meals here, but this one was not. The lights were out over our table but nowhere else to move, the waitress did bring some candles. All the food arrived warm to cool and not very tasty. No point in sending back as we wanted to catch a movie... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
