Decent food. Tables fill fast. Need a better ordering system. You have to keep listening for your number, hard to do when it's full

Went for dinner at their Richmond Hill branch. Good ambience. Good kababs and other dishes like chicken korma. Their hot bread and rice served with every meal are very good. It is a self service restaurant. Your order your food, pay and wait for your number to be called out. No choice for dessert except rice firnee (rice pudding) which... More

Amazing afghan food! The kabobs are amazing, and the rice that comes alongside the kabob dinners is so tasty, it's unlike any other rice I've ever had. And the afghan bread is also to die for. But it's definitely not a relaxed place to go stay at for an hour, it's more of an in-and-out kind of place (which is... More

Went for lunch. We ordered Tandoori Chicken Kabob, Chicken Qurma and Firnee between three of us. The food, Afghani cuisine, was sumptuous and delicious.

I was in love with Afghanistan food but bamiyan kabab losing his quality day by day and it is real expensive now as compared to others. The location in overlea this restaurant have a completion with afghan cuisine but now I think they loses his charm.but now they didn't give extra pickle free they charge now for this

Bad quality food and horrible serving size for the cost. I took a take out and I was disappointed to see the food. The restaurant is unhealthy unclean with extremely poor customer service. Staff is loud and impolite. Save your evening and go somewhere else.

It's a franchise and I've been to their several locations. I think it's the best fast-food in time sense, but the quality is as in a very nice restaurant. It's for meat lovers. Portions are generous and very reasonably priced.

have been a regular customer of bamiya kabob and I love their food, but today when I visited bamiya Kabob the manager who clearly had no business knowledge told me that the boss is always right and that I should leave the store, after I had told him that I had been given a smaller portion of rice and salad... Staying in East York

Neighbourhood Profile
East York
East York includes a portion of old, industrial Toronto. Densely populated but incredibly safe, it boasts some of the city's earliest gardens and gardening clubs, attracting green thumbs everywhere. The tranquility of the Don Valley River area, which is rich with Toronto's oldest and tallest forests, is supplemented by the large ensemble of authentic and refurbished Edwardian homes, giving parts of East York allure. The other draw is for foodies: lovers of Bangladeshi fare will find authentic restaurants and markets in the area, with raw spices and desserts. East York also represents a lot of Toronto's Serbian food culture, and recently, has had an outcropping of solid microbrewery stops. For families, the science center is a favored weekend stop.
