The room was quite lovely. We used it as a meeting room, but it would be a very classy place to have a wedding.

I went to the Roof Lounge to watch the sun set on Toronto on a Saturday night. I found no issue with getting a seat outside (perhaps because it was around 40F with a consistent wind). The lounge staff were accommodating for the weather and offered blankets in addition to the heat lamps that run over the outside part of... More

Went to this old university standby to help celebrate the end of an era. Bartender of 57 years retiring. So nice to see an unchanged Toronto tradition. Still a cozy, library/club like room with spectacular views. Perfect for martinis or night caps around the roaring fire place. Limited food menu available. Always good to go back.

Beautiful room, inside and out. There is an air of old Rat Pack Style luxury. The balcony allows for incredible views of the skyline and tower, and only took a few minutes of waiting at another table. Service was excellent, the older gentleman who served us was welcoming and attentive. The drinks were excellent and the charcuterie fairly standard. Our... More

I dropped by here for an early & light dinner after a visit to the Museum of Ontario. The view is spectacular on the outside terrace (I guess you'd have to arrive early to nap a seat out there!). I sat at the bar and was entertained by a lovely older gentleman who had been working here for decades. Great... More

My wife and I visit this rooftop bar once or twice a year while visiting Toronto. The view is best experienced standing outside with a cocktail late at night. The staff and service are first class, the drinks and snacks are top drawer, and the view of Toronto is the best in the city. It's pretty in the snow, the... More

Wonderful view with superb service. We ate appetizers and drank cocktails while admiring the view and taking in the sunshine. The servers were some of the best and their food was equally good. A good hangout on a Saturday afternoon.

Had a wonderful evening at the roof lounge at the Hyatt! The jazz music playing throughout the bar and outdoor space creates a wonderful atmosphere. I really enjoyed their cocktails and food options, and was able to get an outdoor table without a wait time on a Weds evening at 8pm. Lovely experience!

Had a rest at the roof lounge at the Park Hyatt - service was awesome - waiter provided snacks before we ordered - we had a few small plates off of the menu - delicious - definitely worth the price and the views of the city.

The view is just spectacular, either during the day or at night. We came in from the left coast and were hungry at 11:30 pm. We had excellent wine and ate lamb chops and pulled pork tacos. All very good. We came back for a 5 pm drink the next day and everything was still great. I should not neglect... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
