We ate here several times, probably ten years ago. We stopped since it’s a bit of drive and there are closer restaurants offering dim sum. But, nostalgia descended on us and we decided to go back. It has a faintly Spadina feel sitting in a mall at Finch and Leslie with copious Chinese signs and a Sunny market. Parking was... More

This used to be a good restaurant; not anymore! Food still tasted ok, but served mostly luke warm and the portions have been downsized quite a bit. Food presentation was lousy. The restaurant served everything in plate just slightly bigger than a bread plate - making each dish looked cheap and not appealing. Worst part is the service. The waiters... More

We went to this place on Monday afternoon around 4:00PM.The service was not great and was very slow. It feels like bother to them. What really disappointed me was the food. The quality was poor. I ordered Hot oil/spicy wanton dish and when the dish came, it was soupy and not the dish it should be For sure I will... More

It's often packed. Upscale decor. A very large menu of authentic Chinese food including a very nice dim sum selection. The soup filled dumplings are excellent and worth the visit alone . Non Asians can easily navigate the menu, you write your selections down and give them to the waiter . You can eat well here for $20 a person!... More

An old favourite restaurant that is gradually suffering from its service and food quality levels. Once a great place to go, with dishes coming out hot and tasty, Asian Legend has some serious work to do in order to bring back the old charm and delicious food. We would visit Asian Legend weekly over the past 10 years, however, now... More

I went there last night with some friends. It had some good and bad points. Bad.. the service was horrible.. moody, no smiles and one waiter walked away when we were asking about the menu.. mid sentence!! They were attentive in bringing tea and water however once we requested it. The bathrooms are horrible, dirty, messy and I would avoid... More

We ordered from the lunch combo special menu as it was past lunch but not quite dinner..the soup was coldish, from corn husks it seemed with pink uncooked pieces of chicken inside..we asked for hot and sour to be subbed, for an extra charge. It was even worse. The smell alone was repulsive. we left that also. Kung Pao chicken... More

We enjoyed its famous steamed dumplings and hand made thick noodles with seasoned braised beef in soup. It is a popular restaurant with long line ups. Highly recommend.

If you love Soup dumplings than this is the place to go in downtown Toronto . They also have Crab roe soup dumplings which are rare to find downtown. Steamed to perfection. This restaurant does other delicious foods but I keep coming back for their soup dumplings

The location is convenient although parking can be hard to come by. The decor was nice with good ambiance. The menu had good selection, mostly northern Chinese food. The food was delicious and service was excellent. The deep fried tofu was very good but spicy. The Mo Shu Pork was nicely made. Wished there were more wraps to go with... More
