We came for our best friend's birthdays. 21 girls and A LOT of bottomless mimosas (only $20!). Our server Evan was an absolute DREAM! He was so attentive, kind, and truly made the entire day. The food is unbelievable, I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

Wandered in for a drink and a snack last Sunday night. The friendly barkeep suggested a bottle of pink bubbly what was delicious! I think it was French and with their half price discount it was only $32! Tried the cauliflower which was mighty tasty too. I think I'll be back with the girls for the patio in the summer.

Atmosphere was nice. Restaurant is busy, so reservations are recommended. Prices are very reasonable, food is fresh and delicious, and there are many options for different dietary restrictions. We will definitely go back again!!

Restaurant atmosphere was nice. The John burger was good, not what I had expected, the show string fries didn't seem hand cut. Overall, good experience.

While Marben can definitely be the perfect spot for a date night they easily accommodate large groups, families and children as well. Their prices, compared to other restaurants in Toronto and taking into consideration the amazing service and absolutely gorgeous interior design and atmosphere, to me seem more than reasonable, I would even say low! The food is always fresh... More

Inrmate and quiet space, interesting food. 5 of us went for winterlicious. Tried every thing on the menu. The burger is a must!! Pork terrine as an app was great. The only disappointment was fruit crumble dessert. Service is very good. It's not inexpensive but we felt it was worth the price.

The meal was superb - housemade burrata, carpaccio of beef from local meat, wild boar, whitefish - all prepared very well and servings were generous. Our server was attentive, and also knew his cocktails so we were well taken care of. Great decor. Can't wait to go back and try the cauliflower and the burger!

Marben is unassuming from the outside. On entering, I was surprised by its relatively small size. This turns out to not be a bad thing, as it serves to make the restaurant have a more intimate feel. The waitstaff were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the food offerings and were excellent at recommending drinks based on our preferences (they... More

The best burger I've ever eaten! You gotta try it... Short rib, aged cheddar and Branston pickle. If you have any English in you, this is your meal.

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
