I have read and heard rave reviews so decided to give it a try. It took for ever to get parked and there was very little room inside to wait. They only accept cash but have an ATM inside for an extra service fee.The burger was overcooked and just okay. The fries were great but the price does not justify... More

Tasty, affordable and has a vintage vibe feel to it! Can get busy during lunch. They have grilled onions for burgers. Fries come in a old fashioned box and staff wears paper hats :)

This place is great, i've been coming here since the 70's as a wee lad, very consistent, fast service. In a time of gourmet burgers Joohnny's has still stuck with their standard frozen burger which is charbroiled over and open flame to perfection. Very similar to Harvey's but better, Considering also that a cheeseburger and fries cost less than $8... More

Been going to Johnny's for about 40 years and it is always good. Good food and great prices. Dropped in tonight for a burger and fries and the place was jammed. Johnny's is a Toronto tradition.

I had heard so many great things about this Johnny's Hamburgers but was very disappointed when I finely got a chance to try it. It appears this place may have changed hands recently because the food quality was no where near all the hype! The hamburger came out of a box of preformed factory made patties and the onion rings... No other hamburger eatery comes even close to Johnny's Hamburger in Greater Toronto. Delicious. Fast. Fresh. Piping hot. Juicy. Mouth watering. Dripping. Absolutely incredible !

The great thing about this place is that they focus on what they do best and leave the frills to everyone else. Great job, boys!

I visited Johnny's burgers on a Saturday night. The place was packed full as usual. Many people in line. Anyway, our order was hamburgers, Fries, and Veal cutlet. Everything tasted so good as always. However, the veal cutlet was a bit too crispy because the proton was too thin and the coating was thick. I think it needed to be... More

In general, the place is very busy for a reason. Good size burger at a very good price. Quality is the only thing that is compromised! I have had much better burgers but they all cost three times Johnny's burgers. Considering that you can get a combo burger for $6, the place offers a really good deal that attracts a... More

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
