Stopped here for dinner while wandering around Toronto. Not being familiar with traditional Chinese dishes by name,I asked for mixed vegetables with noodles. I had previously had this type of dish at a restaurant (So Good) in Ottawa, and it was incredibly good. What I ended up with here was Chow Mein. Different type of noodle, and not much broth. Meal was... More

The steamed rice noodle with peanut sauce is yum as an appetiser. S13- mixed veggies with noodle has that typical thick sauce, which you often find in Chinese veggie dishes - not super into it. But if you like it, check it out.

If you want a wonderful traditional experience the Goldstone Noodle will not disappoint. The 1000 year old egg Congee was hot and rich in the egg delicately too often lacking in this traditional dish. The Tea was served promptly if allowed to cool without refill. The BBQ Duck was moist and rich. Butchered in the Chinese manner. My wife, whose... More

Clean and bright. The service is nothing to write home about, but is FAST! No chit chat here. Food is fast, good, and hot.

This restaurant has been around for a long time but recently the quality of the surroundings seems to be slipping. Try going a block north next time for some other options.

Had have a lunch in this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. A typical Cantonese style restaurant with typical service. The waiters and waitresses can speak English, Cantonese and Putonghua. The menu is quite extensive and it is what you can expect to dine in a typical Cantonese "tea restaurant" in Hong Kong. The food is quite fine especially the Hong... More

Ordered four dishes: tofu with broccoli, bok choy with scallops and mushrooms, sticky rice and green beans with ground poek. All were ok but not very savoury. The sticky rice was super greasy. Service was ok. The noise made by pushing the dirty dish trolley across the tiles was very loud and annoying as were the servers yelling across the... More

My family and I have been going here for years. Every time my dad is back in town visiting he'll go here, but there may be 6 months to a year in between visits. It doesn't matter though, there is one server who *always* remembers him and what he orders. Absolutely unbelievable! Very very nice people, and great food. Their... More
