Had a nice local craft beer list, and a bunch of custom mayos for fry dipping. Just something different and good. Try the scotch bonnet mayo.

We all ended up in Toronto (coming from London and Stratford respectively) and Utopia was recommended for dinner. We had a large table in the back - it was quite drafty. Waitress was attentive. Menu had a fair selection. My sister in law and I had the crab cakes which were quite good - decent size for 3 of them.... More

I ordered the curried potato, squash and chickpea burrito. The portion size was pretty big. I liked that it came with a salad to balance it out. The wrap was thin and it was baked, making the outside crispy. I loved how there was more of the actual filling. There were many options, but since I eat a more plant-based... More

We made a quick stop here for soup and coffee. Coffee was good and the soup was delicious. Will have to return to try some of the other options on the menu. The tables were clean and the general ambiance was welcoming and warm. The menu has some excellent GF and Vegan options to try. Next time Im in the... More

We were heading to a mid-afternoon movie, and first had lunch at Utopia, upon a recommendation. We tried the daily soups, which were just delicious and a great way to start the meal on a cold day. For lunch, I had the grilled cheese - it was huge!! Very tasty sandwich, with tons of cheese; I could only eat half,... More

Utopia cafe do burgers well, really well. The burger patties are beautifully grilled and use real meat that still has texture. The servings were generous and not miserly. The House burger and the Bacon & Cheese burgers were the most popular selection on our visit. the Utopia Cafe is well worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood and... More

Brilliant small location, with a patio. Food and service were also amazing. Can't wait to go again! I was so unbelievably happy with the food, it tasted so good!

I am no Toronto native, but my cousin is and I demand that she brings me here every time I visit her. I've only gotten burgers and poutine, but everything else looks amazing too.

A cute authentic bar and grill. Not extremely busy so it made for a peaceful lunch. A lot of vegetarian options available and the food was made to perfection. Service could have done with a little improvement in terms of server politeness, but i definitely plan to make many more visits for the food.

As a family we loved utopia hamburger used to be our favourite in town, but the last two visits the quality had plummeted , burger meat was too hard to chew ( old and reheated) fries were black, very slow service and inattentive waitress. The surprising part we got charged $ 2 for extra mayonnaise!!!. We are definitely boycotting it.

Thank Jibal

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
