Sunday brunch seems to be popular for being popular. We've been a few times, always leaving with the impression that it cost too much to get some good things. The seafood counter was pretty good, but the peel and eat shrimp were far too small to be worthwhile and the mussels were huge and tough. But the crab and seafood... More

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, we are happy that you enjoyed the crab and seafood salads and your "especially good" eggs benedict and the beautiful desserts. We apologize you were not impressed with the rest of the dishes and only thought of them as ordinary. We can assure you that we replenish our buffet from start to... More

Reservation for Sunday brunch is a must. This is a popular place during holidays, especially between Christmas and New Years, and for Mother's Day, skip if you don't like crowds. We recently went after Mother's Day and restaurant wasn't crowded -- food was fresh, and waitstaff were attentive. Selection of food has 14-20 hot items, mix of breakfast and dinner... More

I’ve been dining at the Old Mill for over 40 years. Reflecting back and hearing from the other guests at the table, I think it is as outstanding today as it was forty years ago. This time, it was for a sixteen person brunch birthday celebration. Old Mill is a great venue for group get-togethers, and the buffet provided a... More

Went with a large group and service was excellent. Buffet is great with a lot of selection. Actually too much food but a really great variety. Love the ambiance and charm of the Old Mill.

I hadn't been to the Old Mill in a while but I was really going to see the entertainment. First looking at the menu it was very very limited. I ordered the shrimp cocktail which was good and the shrimp were indeed jumbo. For my main I ordered the prime rib, one of my favourites. They had 8oz and 10oz,... More

Thank you for sharing your experience, I'm glad you enjoyed your jumbo shrimp, however it's very unfortunate you also didn't enjoy your prime rib, one of our favourites too. It does sound like your orders were not put down in front of each other properly, which would explain why your wife's portion was larger. It's unfortunate this was not brought... More

I have frequented the Old Mill several times and more often than not enjoy a very good meal. Unfortunately when there is a miss (as was Good Friday's brunch), it stands in such contrast as to be truly disappointing. We have gotten to know several of the wait staff and they always greet us in a friendly manner. I REALLY... More

I had Thanksgiving Dinner at this restaurant. The food was nice, lots of variety, but service wasn't great and there were way too many people for my liking- obviously that's to be expected on Thanksgiving.

Waited 15-20 minutes for an initial drink order, career waitstaff very sluggish. Meal was Chicken/Shrimp Coconut Curry, the small cubes of chicken and the two shrimp were like leather, no curry flavour and much too sweet, almost dessert sweet. Add that to a $25 cover charge and an $8.50 bottle of domestic beer, very overrated. I've served in Fine Restaurants/Hotels/Banquet... More

With a $25 cover charge you must have joined us for the recent Swing Shift Big Band tribute to Frank Sinatra. I hope you enjoyed the entertainment, it was a fun evening with a sold out crowd. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the chicken/shrimp Coconut Curry, it is a popular dish here. We appreciate your feedback and will discuss in... More

We recently celebrated a friend's 50th birthday at Old Mill Inn for afternoon tea. It was ok but not great. I was expecting dainty tea cups and practice holding it with my pinky being extended, but no, they were using regular white tea cups. The pastries and little sandwiches served were adequate but not that great. We had a lovely... More
