Usually difficult to get a reservation because of its popularity. Menu offerings change with the seasonal fruits/vegetables available. The scallops & fillet are very good.

Always fun at Scaramouche! The appetizers were fresh and flavourful. My husband had a pasta dish which he enjoyed. I enjoyed a fish dish and the desserts were wonderful too!

I arrived early, sat at the bar and enjoyed a drink, wrote some notes about studio visits that day and waited for my friend. The bartender was very helpful in selecting a suitable scotch and attentive when needed, but was happy to leave me to myself. My friend arrived and we stayed at the bar for dinner which was excellent.... More

Our first visit to Scaramouche and it will not be our last. The trip advisor reviews were bang on. Phenomenal food and service. Every moment and every bite was perfection. Our server, Marcus, topped everything off with top shelf service, advice and professionalism. The rack of lamb was amazing, the seafood medley was as well. To finish our meal and... More

We are from New Orleans and think we know a thing or two about fine dining and good food. Coming to Toronto for the first time, we were hoping to find an excellent place for dinner. Based on reviews on Trip Advisor, we booked an early dinner (6pm) at Scaramouche on our first night in town. What a mistake! We... More

Description
Scaramouche has long been celebrated by customers and critics for its unwavering commitment to making each dining experience a memorable one. Chef/owner Keith Froggett's sophisticated cuisine is presented simply with care and attention to detail. The service underscores that philosophy: unobtrusive and respectful. The restaurant affords a stunning nighttime vista of the downtown Toronto skyline. These components and more make Scaramouche the singular destination it is. And the reason that the restaurant is consistently ranked as one of the city's best for more than three decades.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
