Salad King is a great place for a hot, tasty and fast meal. Had the chicken satay with peanut sauce and the chicken had the right amount of char and tender on the inside. The hot and sour soup was a clear broth made using...More

Visited this restaurant on our first night in Toronto on Tripadvisor recommendations and really enjoyed it. Great value, filling portions and tasty food all with good service and a central location. The surroundings are simple and clean. Would definitely visit again.

I've been going to the Salad King since my early 1990 days at Ryerson when I worked in publishing. The location has changed several times but the food has only gotten better. Make sure if you want more spice you let them know. Don't expect...More

This place is a Ryerson University favorite, and my spouse and I really enjoy going here. It has the hallmarks of a restaurant that captivates student bodies: fast, high quality, large portions and very tasty. While this isn't a particularly romantic place, it has a...More

I have gone to Salad King many times, so where my friends suggested it, I was excited to go as I haven't been since last year. I ordered the Spicy Fish and I was not impressed this time. I find all their food tastes approx...More

Its crazy how the name makes you think its salad but its Thai food. Great atmosphere, you share long tables with other people and sit on stools and you can put your belongings under your stool. Cool Place! not expensive!

The Salad King advertizes as the best Thai food in Toronto. I'm not sure I'd go that far, but it's up there with them at a very, very reasonable price. The Salad king looks nothing like a fine dining establishment. On the second floor, most...More

Not sure if it was just a bad experience - but my food was very average. The soup was 99% broth and the green curry had no taste and was chalk like. The place - as advertised - is loud and cafeteria like.

Hadn't been to the Yonge street location before last evening. Found it to be the same value that I remembered from the restaurant's previous incarnations. Tasty food, reasonably priced and the same communal tables. Right in the tacky, glitzy tourist zone just up from Yonge...More

Salad King is one of my favourite places to eat downtown. Sadly I have a peanut allergy, so the number of safe dishes here is extremely limited. Luckily, I love the green curry, and so far it has been peanut safe. I have never had...More

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip

flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities,
with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to

I know they have a modern elevator but I am not sure that there isn't a small grade difference at street level. I did not pay those close attention to this sorry.
