First visit; certainly not my last. Visited with 8 friends to celebrate birthdays. We ordered copious amounts of oysters, some food and several rounds of beer. The oysters were exceptionally fresh and delicious - the condiments were perfect and everything was presented by knowledgeable staff. I will certainly visit again! Loved the atmosphere.

Good selection of oysters. Largest East Coast oysters I have ever tasted to date - "Choppers". Not cheap but well worth the money.

Had a sample of 6 oysters which we all very good and the crab and corn soup was excellent. The fresh poppy-seed bread was also excellent.

It's difficult to get a table at Rodney's, and it's easy to discover why: they have the best oysters in the city. Rodney is a champion shucker, and their selection is wide, varied and incredibly delicious. Going for oysters is one thing, but their seafood is incredible, too. I enjoyed the lobster club (lobster + bacon = heaven). Forget about... More

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had no idea what types of oysters to try so our server made a selection for us to try out which was great. The prices are fair and the atmosphere is very relaxed. We also enjoyed another worker who came by all the tables... More

It was my second time to this oyster house, I always order their fresh oyster, its very very delicious, the atmosphere is so relaxing with modern décor, can't eat all kinds of oyster at one time, will go back to try their different items, its little expensive but worth it.

Thank Karis L

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
