Decided to go for drinks and food on the Danforth tried many places to book a reservation and pantheon was the only one that would take a reservation on a Saturday night. The service was great the food was great and the price was good no complaints from anyone.

It was Friday night, and the place was packed with locals and visitors. Yet the service was excellent. The food was pretty good too. The calamari appetizer we all shared was crispy. The bread that came with it not so good; Greek garlic bread is better. My calamari dinner was good and my husband's roast lamb tender and without extra... More

The restaurant was full and loud but had a fantastic vibe ! Our food was all seafood - calamari, then sea bass and octopus. All was tender and fresh, very tasty ! The service was excellent. Peter was very professional and friendly. Water was always refilled right away without having to ask. We were very pleased with our evening, especially... More

Having been to Greece a few times I think this is one of the most authentic Greek restaurants on the Danforth. The service has always been wonderful even when they are busy which is when you will often find service to be lacking. The food is delicious and fresh.

There are no better seafood salad-type dishes at competing Greek restaurants to top those on the menu at Pantheon. And if you are hard of hearing, consider coming mid-afternoon on a weekday. Things are quietr then, of course. Btw, there is also an optional backroom for dining. I am done. The end.

After a long battle with traffic into the city & lengthy wait to get seated, this classic Greek family style restaurant was well worth it! Very friendly & entertaining staff, food quality & portions were very good. Between the flaming saganaki presentation & happy birthday singing heard throughout, the energy in this place was great!

Always Always Always go here at least twice on my Toronto trips. Great service - very friendly staff. I always make reservations on weekends. Good menu. On this recent trip to Toronto - we went 3x! We usually get the small Pantheon Dips Pikilia platter or the Melitzanosalata (eggplant dip) and then we love the following dishes: Grilled Calamari, the... More

We always love to visit Greek town when in Toronto and this time we were very excited to try Pantheon. We were greeted by a very friendly and warming staff. We ordered the typical horgiatiki, octapodi, saganaki, kalamarakia, kolokithakia, tzatziki and assorted grilled meats plates along with horta and oven baked patatoes. Our expectations were very high especially from their... More

Service was friendly and polite... But the food was just okay. It honestly felt like fast food Greek. We ordered the dip platter...which came immediately.. In fact so fast that I'm convinced it was already made and sitting in the fridge.. The veggies on the plate also were a bit sad and tired and not nearly enough to eat all... More

The Danforth Avenue east of Broadview in Toronto is known for a plethora of Greek restaurants so much so it's called "Greek Town". Many of these restaurants are good, some are marvellous and ,of course, a disappointment can be found here and there. The prices in this 'hood range from reasonable to outrageous as the restaurants reflect the varied aspirations... More

Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
