Had a real nice Dinner. Excellent grilled Octopus as an Appetizer and the Fish Special = Arctic Char. Beautifully seasoned and cooked. Really enjoyed it. The Blueberry Panna cotta had to me "not the typical soft texture", smooth and creamy but rather was a hard Pudding. No problem it was tasty. A cold winter night and when the rear door... More

I hosted a surprise birthday party for my husband at Cirillo’s Culinary Academy this past Saturday and it was fabulous from start to finish. Thanks to Margit the event was beautifully organized, the staff was very efficient and friendly, and Chef Cirillo effortlessly organized 32 people into teams, each of whom helped to prepare the meal and dessert. Despite the... More

Let me start by saying that I'm not one to frequent classy establishments. However, I will definitely be going here again. The food was cooked to perfection made from (what tasted like) incredibly fresh ingredients. We started with two appetizers; the bruchetta and the muscles. Both were amazing. For the main course we had the duck and the gnocchi with... More

We booked a private dinner here and Margit, her husband and staff provided a truly memorable experience, exceptional service and delicious food. The pizza and the veal chop were terrific, the fried calamari was some of the best we've eaten; light, crisp, not oily. The pasta got great reviews from our group. The atmosphere is warm and modern. I Was invited to the restaurant for a post religious event. The environment is interesting with several tables with stoves (used for cooking classes). Staff was friendly and food was well prepared and tasted very good.

I've been here a few times and the food has not disappointed me. Love the ambiance of the place. Parking is at the back and is free when is an added bonus. There is also an entrance from the back of the restaurant. Totally worth the trip. Food is delicious!!!!!! and the waiters/waitresses are super friendly

Made reservation's for 12, when we arrived our table 's were set up and we were seated right away. We had two ladies to serve us, the service was excellent. Our orders were all served within minutes of each other. I had the "special" Trout Salmon served with scalloped potatoes, green beans and carrots, all done here to perfection. I... More

As you enter Oregano you are welcomed by the owner and the very friendly staff. The decor is simple, although the walls are bare, the atmosphere is still welcoming. The window seats offer you a view of Islington Village stores and Dundas street. All tables are well placed and there is no bad seat in the house. The menu offers... More

Took friends from Australia who are real foodies. We were impressed with the downtown style for this suburban eatery. The quality of the Mediterranean food was outstanding. We should have been surprised but noticed Oreganos has an adjacent cooking school.

Here for a birthday party, staff and the owners were great, great service, great food all home cooked perfectly, reasonably priced. We were not rushed, place is busy during dinner time. Certainly would go back again, cooking school attached next door-same owners. Greek and Canadian cuisine-well done.
