New Ho King at Spadina Avenue in Chinatown is clean, cozy and offer a good variety. We ordered delicious sweet chicken corn soup and seafood soup, seafood plate with shrimps, scallops, calamari, and broccoli. The staff is friendly and efficient.

I had walked into the restaurant with my Family to seat ourself which was fine. We had our 8 month old with us in a stroller so we picked the front area so we didn't have to go up the stairs and we would be out of people's way. The server recommended the table beside ours because it would even... More

Don't bother!!!! The staff are so rude that the reasonable (not amazing) food doesn't make up for it. I'd never go back and I would NOT recommend!

The food was ok nothing special below average for Chinatown. The service was really awful -- they forgot to bring 3 dishes, we had to ask 3 times for rice, they failed to bring out kids wonton soup despite being asked 3 times. There was old food stuck between the lazy susan part of the table and the outer part.... More

We used to frequent New Ho King often before they renovated. The interior was no-frills plain, but the food was delicious. One used to have to wait in line to get in; and put up with the waiting crowds hovering when one was finally seated. Service was brisk, but accurate. And, as I said, the food was great. Tonight, we... More

New Ho King has been a family tradition for many years. We enjoy the ample tasty dishes moderately priced. We have our favourites like Hot and sour soup, some vegetarian dishes because some of the family does not eat meat. Such as eggplant, tofu dishes, vegetarian chow mean. Some other dishes like fish fillet on a hot plate with black... More

I love Chinese food, and New Ho King did not disappoint me. Although the server was very slow in taking our orders and delivering food, I didn't mind all that much. One of my friends had a fortune cookie paper in our wonton soup, but overall, the food made up for this.

Like the reviewer under me, I would ALSO give them a -10 if I could. Seems like if you're just a couple, then you are not worth their time if they have a larger party sitting at their round tables (looks like it seats 10-12). Being a VERY LOYAL client for New Ho in terms of takeout/delivery, one day we... More

After reading that this place is a popular late night eating spot, my boyfriend and I went there at 2am. We've had one of our worst experience eating here. Whoever wrote that this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Toronto has clearly been living under a stone or commented on the wrong page. My 6 year old brother... More
