You can find traditional french food in Toronto. Things I like about this restaurant. 1 Food, simple and french. 2. The restaurant is quite large with three different rooms and a back patio in the summer. As such it is ez to get a table - tables at the front are reserved for walk ins. 3. Bunch - weekend brunch... Always a great meal with true bistro ambiance. I had the fish which was outstanding and snuck a few frites from my friend's plate.

Dinner with another couple very recently. Have dined here many times. The cuisine is French and consistently tasty. The service is friendly but not over the top. Prices are reasonable for Toronto.

Great food, very good service and VERY reasonably priced. The main room is the most pleasant. The surroundings are a little tired and the washrooms too small for the size of the crowd and more than a little tired. Nonetheless, I recommend it highly. The sides dishes are large and inexpensive. The mains are delicious!!! A friend recommended the place... More

We recently had dinner at this French Bistro. Located midtown Toronto, restaurant on a hidden busy street with ample free parking across the street at business location. The ambiance was trendy with a few intimate areas. We visited on a weeknight, we were quite surprised at how quickly the restaurant became filled and busy. The food was the highlight of... More

We keep forgetting about this place. It is only about a 10 minute walk away from Bloor street or Rosedale Subway - so it is easy to get to on foot. It is just tucked away in an odd location. The menu is small and changes regularly. The wine list starts out a little too cheap (around $35) as the... More

Never knew about this place, but was recommended by a friend. Arguably the most authentic French bistro in Toronto. Most other patrons were clearly repeat customers. Food was great, and the service was very friendly. Learned that many employees have been here for 10+, if not 20+, years, which is a good sign in the restaurant business. Ambiance is clean... More

Sadly we don't get to enjoy Le Paradis often enough as we live away from Toronto and visit seldom. However, when we do and dinner is on our itinerary, Le Paradis is our restaurant of choice. So friendly and comfortable. It is like an old friend who you may not have seen in years but upon reconnecting you're right back... More

We would heartily recommend this restaurant. The food was well prepared and very tasty and prices were reasonable - particularly for Toronto. We were also impressed by all the wait staff with whom we had contact.

Went to celebrate our Granddaughter's becoming an Accountant. Food is very tasty, portions just right and reasonably priced. Parking is difficult, especially in the winter.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
