We stumbled upon this place after getting caught short for a late dinner. We were so pleased we went in. It was a basketball night and therefore we were lucky to get a table. The food was freshly prepared with lots of garlic. The focaccia garlic and rosemary bread was to die for. Talk to the waiters - they seemed... More

We visited this restaurant for the first time on a very busy Saturday night. Although we were ten minutes late for our reservation, they had held our table and it was the only one free. The atmosphere was lively. Huge wine list with a lot of Italian choices and a huge price range. The house made bread with oregano and... More

Amazing food. Service was spot on, had lots of wait staff on hand. I had lobster tail and scallops with squash soup and a little chocolate cake. My husband had the bison steak and mashed potatoes with soup and cake. Food was good, tasty. Atmosphere was good. Would definitely go again!

They have an amazing Funghi risotto that I had to come back to have it again. Good atmosphere with nice waiters, really enjoyable place.

Little Italy in Toronto. Small but cozy place. Delicious fish apart from pasta. Staff very gentle and professional.

This is an outstanding restaurant in just about every way. The service is solicitous without being sycophantic, the ambiance intimate and relaxing, and the food – well, it is simply wonderful. We tried a variety of dishes, from salad to risotto, from pasta to lamb, and the judgment on each was uniformly complimentary. Each serving was appropriate in size, expertly... More

An unassuming but pleasant restaurant, where the people waiting on you aim to create a most pleasant dining experience from start to finish. Low background music so you can talk easily (important for my brother who wears hearing aids), a nice menu with delicious options. The Sardinian wine that was recommended was excellent, the homemade soup awesome. Our waiter listened... More

We wanted to enjoy some real Italian food to celebrate my son's birthday and found this restaurant in Little Italy. The menu has a wide variety of interesting Italian dishes. The food was very well prepared. The servers were friendly and attentive. Portions were quite generous but not ridiculously so. Prices were reasonable. Definitely a restaurant I will visit again.

We stumbled across this place in Little Italy and I couldn't be more pleased we did. It was brilliant! Quirky menu. We had complementary focaccia to start which was very tasty, followed by sweet potato gnocchi and slow cooked lamb risotto which were both lovely! Highly recommend!

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
