The sushi and sashimi are very fresh. Anything deep fried tend to be greasy. Service is typical of this type of place - no smile, don't care.

I have been dining at Gojima (or ordering out) for nearly 20 years, and they continue to provide premium, excellent value sushi. The service is friendly and quick, usually with an unexpected "on the house" addition! Food is always fresh, expertly crafted and tasty. Listening to the welcomes at the door, it seems that almost all customers are regulars, who... More

I love Gojima. This is our go-to sushi spot. While we usually do take-out, last night we went and dined in with some friends for a birthday. Charlie made sure he took care of us by bringing out some wonderful 'treats' on the house like tempura vegetables, salads, after dinner fruit and sake-bombs. As always, the food was extremely high... I came here first time 17 years ago and we still go whenever we fell like eating Japanese food for lunch. Now with the family. Great food, very friendly staff and you do feel like at home when they recognize you and appreciate you coming back time after time. We prefer it as a spot for lunch and you can't... More

This is the best place to go for lunch or dinner. I love the staff. They are always so friendly happy to be serving delicious and fresh sushi. They offer a diverse and unique selection of house made rolls, which are always expertly crafted and are just the right size to satisfy your sushi hunger. This is our go to... More

This is a regular haunt for me for either lunch or dinner. Everything is always so fresh and delicious. A friend & I camped out there last night studying for an upcoming exam and they even sent over some complementary nibbles and were happy to let us sit and work till closing time. Friendly staff, delicious food and a relaxed,... More

Everything I've had at this restaurant has either been very good or amazingly great. My two favourites are the Avocado covered Green Dragon or the Golden Dragon with both crispy fried shrimp and smoked eel. It is located on the south side of Bloor St. W. a block and a half east of Islinfton Ave.

Gojima has been a favorite sushi restaurnat for over 15 years. The place is usually busy which means a good turn over in the sea food....a good thing for sushi. I have taken friends from the east coast and family from the west coast (who obviously have access to good sushi) and they rave about Gojima and it is ussuall... More

If you want a quick, affordable lunch that will fill you right up this is the place. It's a homey spot with well-spaced tables and attentive staff. The music seems to be set so the kitchen can hear it, moer or less killing intimate conversation in the dining room. They did finally turn it down. TV screens provide an unnecessary... More
