We stopped in here for a quick drink post theatre at the Royal Alex. Fun vibe, typical pub food by the looks of what passed us by. We had a few drinks, and they were good and reasonably priced. Looks like a fun spot to...More

Before 6, house wine is $5-even on Fridays. We arrived at 5:30 on Friday and were quoted 20-25 minutes wait. We were seated in 15 minutes! Good selection of craft beers. Our order included the Bacon &Bleu Cheese Burger, Castle Club and Cajun Caesar Wrap....More

Disclaimer: I went pre-Theatre, so that's a busy time. Still, the food was good, and the atmosphere inviting. Service is very friendly, although the staff seemed a bit overloaded with the volume. It's pub fare, but good pub fare.

Before the show. Shocked at how big the place is. Decent, nice view and the bar and high tables are good for a snack and a drink before a show or for watching a game. Fairly large selection of beer and alcohol. Even had screech,...More

I had a late dinner here on a Tuesday night a few weeks ago. The place was dead. I had a steak and mushroom pie that was just passable and not memorable. Thank goodness the beer was cold.

The reviews are a little confusing, and in some cases a little unfair, firstly I'd like to say the staff member on entry was really great with a fun personality, the service from the young lady behind the bar was brilliant and attentive, they have...More

Lots of celebrating on the 17th ☘️, lots of people, loud music! Not even Irish music! Food was good, so was the service.

Uh oh, the jig is up! We definitely played SOME Irish tunes throughout the evening... Glad you had a good time! Rest assured, it's not normally that loud. We hope to see you again soon! Cheers, Sarah EC King St
