We really enjoyed Donatello. It was busy when we arrived and we were lucky to get a table. Lively atmosphere without being too loud. Great food.

I will start by saying that I am a Certified Culinarian in the American Culinary Federation. I know a “little something” about food service and restaurants. The concierge at our hotel recommended Donatello for Italian food. We had a reservation, arrived about five minutes early...More

The relatively small dining space actually adds atmosphere to this authentic Italian restaurant. We shared linguine vangole, a veal chop special with pasta and an egg plant dish which were all amazing. The beef carpaccio was less than perfect with too much cheese. The wine...More

Second time at this restaurante. Staff was nice as always, but music was too loud in our opinion, difficult to talk, a little “too much”. Our party ordered Gnocchi and Tortellini. The dough was thicker, and heavier than what we usually find at good Italian...More

This place is classy and cozy with tables close together upstairs where we ate our dinner. We had the veal piccata that was fantastic and a lobster pasta dish that was a special and average tasting. The service at the table was fine and our...More

"WITHOUT PREJUDICE" and "In My Opinion" Just off Young Street in Toronto on Elm Street is my all time favorite restaurant. It's fine dining Italian cuisine at it's absolute finest. Elm Street is rather quint and Donatello's is very much a part of that. It...More

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination
for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip

It's a lovey 15-20 minute walk. Not sure what else is nearby. Lots good restaurants just south of hotel. West of maple leaf square. (10 minute walk) and close to the lake.
