small cozy place. dont take reservation. No need to. Food always fresh and delicious. It has always rated as one of the top in the city. That's why i started going there quite a few yrs ago, and i am still a loyal customer. Friends from different parts of the city agree it is worth the drive. Love the lamb... More

Fabulous Indian food freshly made and quickly! Best samosas I ever had! Butter chicken was full of chicken and sauce was just perfect. Garlic naan to die for..... had home style chicken curry and Dahl too and it was all absolutely delicious. When we called to make a reservation they said we did not need one because there were lots... More

A popular neighbourhood stop. Its simple in decor but the food is amazing. We always order extra garlic nan for the walk home.

While we are not big Indian foodies, this is one place we've been to with friends. The service is very good, the food looks authentic, is prepared on site and is quite flavourful and not overly hot. A good place to go if you are a novice!

I love indian cuisine and although this restaurant is not among my top 5 it is certainly among my top 10! Very lovely place and staff, I could go back if I'd live in Toronto!

love this place. Authentic Indian cuisine. Always lined up to get in so that says a lot. Sensational dishes cooked in a kitchen visible to patrons.

This is a small, very good restaurant in an up-and-coming area of West Toronto. The food is very good, the service is excellent and the price is reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.

It is a small restaurant with every dish well-prepared. It is Indian food adapted to Canada, not by eliminating spices, but by cutting back on the fat content. The spicing is fresh and the aroma of spices is wonderful from the moment you enter the restaurant. We have eaten here a few dozen times and have yet to have a... More

When I go to a restaurant, the thing that matters to me the most is the how am I greeted. The restaurant offers fabulous customer service and a warm welcome by happy-go-smiling servers. The also introduce you to the everyday house special menu items and take care of how you would like your food to be prepared. Extra effort is... More

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
