First time here with a group of 6 and I was excited. I love different foods. The waitress was rude to us. It took forever to get her attention and when we did she made it clear she wouldn't come back until we'd all decided what we wanted. She took only half of our drink orders; the other half she... This is a small Persian restaurant who serves dishes from the north of Iran, you will find a few unusual dishes you won't get in other Persian restaurants. The food is quite good and service is appropriate, not really geared up for larger parties.

We were introduced to this restaurant by a Persian friend of ours. The dishes are authentic and delicious. They will prepare vegetarian dishes as well. Be mindful that a lot of the dishes have walnuts in them. The menu has the ingredients all listed and the owner and staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating. be sure to have a Shiraz... More

I've been here several times. The food has been good every time. The service is a bit slow. Being a small place, it tends to get full fast. It's better to reserve a table ahead of time.

This is truly an Iranian experience. The decor is spot on, the service is friendly and the food is traditional, fresh and absolutely amazing. I love everything about this place. The only place in the city that you can get good traditional Iranian food that is no kabab.

Nice looking place but Food sucked and the people were rude. Terrible service. If you want to get good Persian food, there are much better places to go to in North York.

Looking for a great Persian meal at a moderate price? The Pomegranate satisfies both. Staff went out of their way to accommodate 3 who showed up without reservations. Simply great!

I dined here with a family member recently, and overall, the experience was pleasant. We had reservations close to when the kitchen was closing, so we expected a quick meal. The servers were pleasant and attentive during the experience. We ordered the special of the night which was the gourmet sabzi and the aloo gheysi. Each came with a salad... More

We arrived at 6:45pm. Felt like it was a rushed meal. We were told that others had reservations after us at 8:30PM.Food was ok. Salad from a store bought Box. We tried the chicken, lamb and fish stew..was ok. The bread came when our meal was almost finished. The 15% tips were already added to bill which we didn't like.... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
