I love Thai food. This place, although the staff were very friendly, is mediocre. The décor is pretty cool, but the food: bland. I wasn't overly impressed with my chicken pad thai. It was just 'there'. Service was rather slow/inattentive. The others I dined with...More

nothing really memorable. the service was terrible, not attentive one bit. waited 10 minutes for the visa machine because they were having a good conversation. decor is lackluster and the food was mediocre and tasted like it came from a can.

I’m giving it 2 just because it serves food. Nothing special about this place. Ambience is not attractive and seems like an old building. The service was just okay.

Golden Thai still does a thriving business, particularly at lunch, after more than 20 years in the same location. Perhaps a reason for their success is the food takes a very safe approach when it comes to Thai food - very light on spices with...More

I have been a customer of Golden Thai for over 20 years; at least once per month as it is a favourite go-to since it is on my way home from work. During last month, something has happened. The quality and quantity of food has...More

At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination

We ate 'in'. We had never been there before so we do not know whether they do "take-out".
