This restaurant is relatively speaking easy to access. We've visited on St. Patrick's day; service was friendly, but a bit slow... Beer pitchers are reasonably priced, chicken wings are tasty, but nachos are not as I expected; a bit dry and lacks of ingredients. Burger was kind a over cooked and had less sides than an average pub. Overall, it's... More

What an unexpected pleasure. Small neighborhood atmosphere. Had to park on street. $3/hour. But food was delicious. Had a salad with a terrific balsamic dressing and a hardy amount of tender tasty wings. With the visit. Daily specials exist. Thursday is better for beer. Monday Wednesday 1/2 off wings.

Spent an evening with friends over drinks and food. Out of three items ordered, their ribs were excellent. Staff was courteous and friendly.

A decent standby for those looking for a neighborhood pub. This location is one of many that is part of the Toronto based chain. It is decent for events - always has the local game on, and will have other celebrations on like for St. Patrick's Day. There are meal specials throughout the week as well.

Not a fan of this cookie-cutter roadhouse chain. Food is unimpressive, but what could one expect? Yes they have beer & yes it's cold so they have that going for them.

Great place to have drinks with friends. No complaints about the food. The atmosphere is good. The service leaves much to desire, it is very slow.

Good bar atmosphere .. Average menu with the usual suspects appearing, the food is a bit lacklustre and looks tired, it's what you would expect, the range of beers and the prices reasonable, a lot of televisions which some people like ..service good and with a smile, better to drink than to eat...

Our food was below average - my fajitas has zero flavour. The 'vegetarian' fajitas were just bell peppers sauteed in oil (no salt or other seasoning), the lettuce was browning and limp, the tomatoes were bland and the cheese was out of a bag. My friend's steak frites was equally boring - steak overcooked (asked for medium, got well done)... More

Welcome to Gabby's, a Canadian restaurant/bar chain with a strong focus on great quality, mainstream casual food at affordable prices. Proudly Serving Neighbourhoods for 22 years! Gabby's was founded in 1989 by a local Toronto based family. Situated on Yonge Street, north of Lawrence Avenue in the heart of a populated upper-middle-class neighbourhood, the concept was simply to create a cozy environment that was well suited to have great conversations, served quality freshly cooked meals and offered great draft beer and spirit selections. After more then two decades of fine-tuning, product development, and loads of hard work, we have what you see today. As of 2012, we have eighteen locations (15 under the banner name Gabby's) We currently serve over 35,000 customers a week. Today, we still offer a stimulating atmosphere with lots of conversation pieces on the walls and serve excellent quality, fresh cooked meals. We are defined as a main stream casual dining restaurant with an integrated sports bar area that caters to the community and local businesses. We provide friendly, attentive service in a relaxed environment by staff and owners that truly enjoy their job.

Staying in North End

Neighbourhood Profile
North End
The North End is a nucleus of specialty food restaurants and shops, especially around its Mount Pleasant Village area. Frequented by antiquers for its numerous collectable shops, furniture spots, and oddity stores, the North End is a maverick of the quaint and quality. Vintage toy stores, accessory shops, and cinemas welcome perusers to step back in time, while the wide pedestrian squares and the large medical and business community inject it with a dose of modernity. With numerous cafes and Toronto's greatest number of independent booksellers, it isn't uncommon to see folks in this area at their leisure, reading outdoors and in eateries, and taking life a bit more slowly – even if it's only during their lunch break.
