Was in town five days for greycup. Ate here a couple times both in restaurant and at the bar. Good food and service. Nice bar to sit at for a couple drinks. Really good service at the bar one evening for certain. Easy to recommend.

As a Toronto resident, this hotel restaurant is not on my radar. An out-of-town friend staying at the hotel invited me to lunch. It wasn't my first choice and I wouldn't rush back to it for lunch. Service was fine and menu choices were OK - pretty safe menu. Restaurant was essentially empty when we were there - not sure... More

I stayed at the InterContinental hotel for several days last week and ate at Azure a few times. They were great -- good food, good people. Would go there again.

We just went there after a concert to have a drink, they had the ball game on so we thought we would catch a bit of it. One drink (I had a ceaser) was $14 (maybe $16). That is ridiculous! No wonder there was only a handful of people in the place.

Took my mother and sister here for a holiday dinner. We got served a really interesting spread. The restaurant was quiet (in a positive way); the ambiance delightful; the staff accommodating, friendly, and very warm; the food was delicious - a bit odd for my more 'meat and potatoes' family members, but I gave it two thumbs up. I had... More

I arranged a date night dinner for a soon to be married client. He wanted to make it special so he requested dinner with dessert platter and a bouquet. Though it was a last minute plan and we didn't eve have a week, The restaurant prepared everything so much better than what the couple expected. Vipan's response was super quick... More

The food was great at Azure - fresh salad, excellent sweet potato and chick pea stew and crisp wine. We had a really nice seat by the window and excellent service. Everyone at the table had great food - the duck, the pasta and the salmon.

Firstly, I would like to commend William, our server, on his professionalism. His attentiveness and demeanour left nothing to be desired. His drinks recommendation was delicious - a rum and ginger beer concoction that I LOVED! We ordered the mezze platter and arancini balls to start. These were good, but nothing that made me want to say "wow." For our... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
