I made reservations for the family a few days in advance knowing the forecast was for sun and clear skies. Our reservations were for 12:15 and we arrived early as requested - didn't realize that you have to go through security like an airport but guess it's to be expected. We checked our coats and then joined the elevator line... More

We've tried to get a reservation at this restaurant the last 3 times we've been to Toronto and were never able to get anything at a decent time. I made this reservation 6 days in advance and was able to get a 6pm or 9:30pm reservation. Point being, if you want to go here, book your reservation a week in... More

I had been promising to take my kids up the tower for years, but my fear of heights was holding me back. I finally got up the courage to take them and when I checked the prices for admission, it wasn't going to be much more to go for lunch at the 360 with their price fix menu (minimum 2... More

I have to start with saying that we came to this restaurant pretty much after our flight from London, so we were quite jet lagged... I don't think I quite appreciated as much as I would have done normally. Once you get your head around that the restaurant is moving as you eat (this made me a bit dizzy to... More

We went here this month for a birthday celebration, frankly expecting an average meal but a great view. Pleasantly surprised with a simply Fantastic view of Toronto (get the early seating so you can see the sunset) and an excellent dinner with fair portions, great "Canadian" tastes and a stellar staff. We had a person with nut allergies and they... More

This place has great ambiance and reasonably priced, when compared to other upscale restaurants downtown. The service was good, the views were great and makes for a great date night

My husband and I invited two visitors from out west for dinner at the CN Tower, knowing our friends had already been to the revolving restaurant in Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver. We all immensely enjoyed the view, especially Lake Ontario at night, and the freeway that hugged it all the way from Toronto to Niagara Region, even though we could... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
