Just decided to treat my girls for gelato after a long visit to a doctors office. My family spent $30 on gelato. We were sitting enjoying our gelato and were told that the coffee I was carrying was not allowed in the store. I realize why rules like this are in place, but a certain discretion should allow, considering the... More

No complaints. Very good gelato. Nice place. They are obsessed about you not touching the glass. Dear Hotel Gelato: let people point and touch the glass where the ice cream is! That's part of the experience.

I stopped by for lunch on a Saturday. I was seated then ignored for about 15 minutes. Finally I got a menu and eventually my order. I asked for some bread with my meal...it has arrived just on time, after I finished my meal. No one has come to ask me, how my meal is or if need anything. It... More

Delicious gelato flavours - always fresh. My favourites are lemon ricotta and espresso. We also love coming on a Saturday breakfast. Try the lemon ricotta pancakes - yum!!!!! Great service, delicious food - don't hesitate to check it out.

Fabulous gelato, lattes and cappuccinos. Food is very good, but pricey. Ambiance is lovely, but it can get very noisy at a weekend brunch. Lovely spot for a quiet meeting or solo break during the week.

We were looking forward to trying this little spot for Sunday Brunch with friends. We arrived first and waited 20 minutes at the front. No one gave us eye contact or seated us. We finally were seated and eventually our orders were taken. No one took our drink orders, so we had to order coffees and juices after the food... More

A great Sunday Brunch. I have had their salads as well and they were perfect....Oh! the best gelato, like home made. Finally they have one one of the best espressos in this area.

The cottage cheese pancake was a die for! Fluffy, melting in you mouse. I have to go back to have another one! The service was OK, nothing special, that's why I gave only 4 star

Went for one of the best gelatos I have had outside of Italy. Many flavors to choose from-but the pistachio is by far the best. Salads and sandwiches looked pretty good-albeit a bit pricey. A nice addition to the hood!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
