The service was good and some of the seven course menu was most enjoyable. I found the size of the plates exceptional small and the flavours less Spanish than I had expected. The bread was excellent

Having eaten here two or three times in the past (but not in the last couple of years), I tried to make a booking for a birthday last month (April). Now, I know that they do not take reservations more than a month in the future, and that it's a truly tiny place, so I waited until 30 days before... More

Fabulous fantastic gastronomic experience I don't eat red meat but the staff were kind enough to tailor the chefs plates to my possibilities. The quality of the food is like eating at a Michelin star restaurant

I took my client and his mom out to Edulis after helping him purchase a condo, to celebrate. We all ordered 7-course tasting menu, and weren't disappointed. And having been to Edulis before a few times, let my clients know that they were in for a treat. While the dishes were very good, they weren't phenomenal as I've grown accustomed... More

I had dinner at Edulis last week with a friend. We went for the 7 course package, added truffles to one dish, so we each spent about $115 on food alone before tips and taxes. All in, I can think of many ways to better spend my money. I do not recommend the restaurant. So many things went wrong… here’s... More

Had so many great expectations, yet tasting menu services are taking way too long (7PM to 11:00PM on a Tuesday night, for two..). Dishes are beyond small yet everything is nicely done. Rhum beba at the end if way too much but delicious. For that price and time though we have experienced much better, particularly coming from Montreal. By the... More

Me and my boyfriend came here at 8:45 reservation on a Saturday and it was still pretty full. We ordered the more expensive Prix fixe menu (7 course) with a cheese dessert at the end. Though the meals look small, we were both very stuffed by the end of the meal. The fish was very fresh and interesting with unique... More

We visited on a Sunday evening in mid-January for a birthday celebration. The seven-course menu was perfection for two seafood lovers - a variety of dishes including a fish crudo, lobster and crab. We added a wagyu with black truffle dish (amazing) and a lovely birthday dessert was brought to the table. Wine was delicious! Overall an outstanding evening! Note... More

Everything about it was practically perfect. Very quaint place. Service was personable and friendly and attentive but not overly. The food was great. Some of the best fish dishes I've had in a long time. The great food made the wine taste even better. I look forward to going back.

Based on the reviews and being rated as one of the top new restaurants in Canada, we were very much looking forward to our dinner at Edulis. The restaurant is quaint and small, and we were reminded many time by the staff that the place is completely booked out a month in advance (implying we were lucky to be there).... More

Staying in Queen Street and West Queen West

Neighbourhood Profile
Queen Street and West Queen West
Known as the Art & Design District, West Queen West is one of the most energetic and dynamic of Toronto's neighborhoods. Along with its great modernist museums, clubs, and restaurants, it's home to some of the funkiest specialty shops, ranging from clothing to stationary to collectables, and caters to niche and vintage shoppers of all kinds. That makes it a mecca for creatives, including hobbyists designers, writers, and painters. With ink on their hands and fabric pelts in their bags, visitors to Queen Street traverse the avant-garde blend of historic architecture and ultra-contemporary fare. Home to some of Toronto's chicest hotels and most modish java fixes, busy with street cars, and always suffused with live music drifting onto packed patios at bars and clubs by nightfall, the vibrancy of West Queen West is undeniable.
