My go to place for take-out dessert until Laduree arrives in Toronto. I don't eat dessert often, but when I indulge, this is where I go.

While on my hunt for TO's best chocolate cupcake, I dropped in here to pick up a cupcake and also tried some chocolates on a whim. Chocolates were decent and the fudgey chocolate cupcake (this was its name) wasn't bad either. The beautiful cakes they had on display were really eye catching and looked like they also did custom cookies... More

There are many cakes , freshly baked and ready to go. They can bake customized cakes (for example, I ordered a pumpkin cheesecake) as well. Many choices, and very colorful. The ice-cream is especially delicious. It is really a take away place, a small place but with great heart and tender-loving care is put into everything they do.

Their Lemon Butter Cranberry Besgoti is World Class. The best I've ever had. Call ahead and see if yo can get them fresh out of the oven. That is as close to heaven as you'll ever get. My spelling might be off on besgoti but they make the best I've ever had. I've been well over 2 dozen times.

No room to sit down, so just grabbed a pie and ate it in nearby. Pretty storefront. Only had the pie but recommend trying it.

I needed to order a birthday cake for my fiance's birthday, not an easy task as I live in the UK and was only visiting Toronto for a week for his birthday.Ordered the cake online to be picked up in store and must admit I was a bit anxious as this was a gamble,as I had never used their services before.However... This shop always makes me happy! I love the selection. The ice cream is just perfection. Truffles have so much flavor. These desserts are made with a lot of love!!

Got a mini apple pie, i'm assuming it's not there specialty because it was good but not great. Heard a lot of great reviews about this place and decided to check it out. I'd recommend something cake involved which looks like it's there thing.

I go here every time I'm in Town to see my kids. I love this place and highly recommend the strawberry shortcake and their ice-cream.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
