Our friends told us about this place and my husband really wanted to go as he loves sports and it does look pretty cool on-line. We were at the Raptor's game Sunday night and made a reservation for after the game, as no tables were available before the game. When we got there, there were many people just arriving after... MLSE has always done things bigger. Real Sports Bar and Grill which is situated in Maple Leaf Square steps from the Air Canada Centre is a testimony to the opulence of the business vision. A giant projection screen complimented by smaller screens throughout the two level bar would provide a fantastic atmosphere for the sports fan unable to get seats... More

This is my third time here as we normally eat here when we are in town. The food was just okay and so was the service. There are so many amazing restaurants to try in Toronto, and I think I will be skipping this one next time.

Went to the real sports bar before a Toronto Rock game. Busy Busy place before events. Always suggested to make a reservation if you want a table. Good selection of beers on tap. We ordered Wings as an appetizer but they came out cold and disappointing. The Real Burger and Turkey burger are very good. Upstairs they have a charging... More

As Toronto Rock season ticket holders, we are here almost weekly for a 4 month span. We've tried to come here for dinner on multiple occasions and finally made it in for lunch when our daughter was there for mini miss cheer. Well it totally didn't live up to it. The calamari was like chewing on an old boot. We... More

Visiting Toronto for business and I needed a place with wifi to do some work. Stumbled across this sports bar. It's massive!!! Screens are everywhere for multiple sports at any given time. Was quite busy at 3:00 pm but there is a hockey game tonight so everyone is getting their food and drink in before the game. Really good atmosphere.... More

We were there during a raptors game. There is a large screen to watch the game. The food is great. We shared the taco salad and a cheeseburger. The portions were large. We could have split just the taco salad. We had a fun night. We will definitely be back.

Having eaten here numerous times before and had good service and food, last night was absolutely abysmal!! Service totally sucked! We had to ask for napkins and utensils - multiple times - after food was delivered. Food came out to the wrong people. Food was cold. Food has sauce when specified no sauce. Had to ask for condiments for burgers... More

This review is good for 4 visits between 20th Feb and 26th Feb '17 while we were over to attend some hockey games at the ACC. Our last visit in Mar '16 wasn't impressive I wont go into that but that review is still available, however this time very pleased to say no issues what so ever! Great service as... More

It was the long weekend so I understand it would be busy. Lucky we got a table but waited for a long time for service. Waited for a long time for food. We felt we had been forgotten. Tried to get the attention of wait staff and wasn't able to get anyone's attention. Finally the food came and we were... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
