I occasionally drop into this tiny restaurant for lunch. It is tucked away off the beaten track, but worth looking for. The portions are generous and the food tastes fresh. It is clean and the staff are pleasant. Highly recommended

It's authentic and it's very Korean. Delicious Bib Bim Bab, bulgogi and other rice-based dishes. They prepare it fresh and serve it to go, only.

Craving Korean food, I decided to try this place out while on my lunch. I had gotten there around 1:00pm on a Tuesday and, for such as small place, it was packed. The line was nearly out the door. After ordering my lunch, it was about a 20 minute wait; therefore not very practical if you are in a rush.... More

Always worries me when I see staff testing food in the back using the rubber gloved hand that goes to the mouth. Makes you wonder what happens you don't see!!!!

Very small restaurant with only two tables. Great takeout place. Very busy during lunch hours. Food is great but the price has been increasing.

Wish i had discovered this place before. In my last days in Toronto i went to the Bob's Bulgogi. It's a small place but with great flavor. The service is friendly, cheap and with excellent food.

This is a small take out place. It is kind of "a hole in the wall", but in a nice way. They have counter seating for about 4-6. If you need a place to eat, you can always get it to go and find a food court in the path. The decor is cool, an industrial motif, and it is... More

Would highly recommend making a pitstop here to try any of the delicious options. It's a small space, and there's no washroom. Regardless, it was a great spot to grab a meal!!

Bob's Bulgogi was a bit of a disappointment. I'm certainly not a Korean food expert, but I found the food very mediocre. It was very bland, from the miso soup to the chicken Bulgogi and the beef bimblogi. There was no bite to the food. I expected a warm hearty meal that had spice. The hot sauce had a much... More

We've been to Bob's Bulgogi a few times now, and each time the food has been consistently yummy. It's a small takeout place located near the Eaton Centre, financial district and St Lawrence Market. Service is always really friendly and the food is fresh. It's primarily a takeout place, but they do have some stools and a counter by the... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
