As a sushi lover, I had tried so many sushi restaurants. But, after having this Tone sushi, my journey to find a better sushi restaurant is over. Their food is always very fresh and nice, the presentation of each plate is excellent! The atmosphere is good. The servers are friendly. Even though some of their staffs' English is a little... I have been a regular contributor of this establishment since it has opened. It was one of my favourite sushi places. Now with Saku a few doors down, and other sushi places close by, the competition and standards of other places have raised the bar for expectation. The food still remains a decent quality though the consistency has gone down.... More

At first it does seem a bit ropey esp as the menus had stains/food on them and the specials menu looked over copied and old. However the staff were friendly and the presentation of food was very good. Mid priced with no heirs and graces I'd say it was a proper foodie joint.

My daughter's favorite Sushi/Sashimi place in Toronto; went for my first visit. For perspective, I do business in Kyoto/Tokyo Japan and have been to the best in Japan. This place is just as good. The best of the best sashimi; the tuna, sea bass, sea bream, salmon - all top notch. Folks - go and you will not be disappointed.... More

Stumbled upon this wee gem whilst walking around town. My husband who lived in San Francisco for years says this is the best sushi he's has in years. It was busy the entire time we were here even though it was well past most people's lunch hour. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The seating hostess was just terrible. First she welcomed my party of 3 and proceeded to seat us. After getting settled she came over and told us we would have to wait by the front 5 to 10mins for a seat as the table was reserved and there was the party coming in the door now. We later observed the... More

I live in Queen for 5 years and know all the sushi in the area. They are 1-2$ more expensive then others but better 100% more then others. Waiters a bit slow but it worth it.

I was a little unsure about the place at first. It maybe didn't have the greatest decor but the food was absolutely delicious. I Loved it. Great sushi!!

The sushi is ok, however it's not always clear what's the difference between two different sushis, which is mainly caused by their interesting choice to mince many ingredients (like tuna). Overall i think you can easily get away with better sushi in Toronto.
