We stumbled upon this hidden gem that's slightly off the beaten track and boy are we Glad we did. This family run restaurant caters to everyone. The freshness of the food was better than that of my home country (a tropical island). We found the menu extremely well written and easy to read, there is literally something for everyone. My... We had to go home tonight to write our review after a memorable dinner. Thank you to the Keystone Alley Staff for making us feel so special and for taking such good care of us! We had the beet salad, stuffed pasta, hippie bowl (great name) and the beef brisket). If you can believe it we even had room for... More

My husband I had a wonderful date night at the Keystone Alley. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. I especially enjoyed the pickerel and the calamari which was the appetizer. We will certainly return for another date night!

I have eaten at Keystone Alley many times on our various trips to Stratford. You can rely on it to have delicious food and good service. They are ready to get theatergoers in and out on time but without making you feel rushed. I love their desserts, too, and the Pavlova is my favorite! Be sure to make a reservation... More

With a theatre appointment looming, we asked the waitress for speedy service, and they delivered with aplomb and courtesy. We both ordered Mussels in White Wine (Moules Marinère - it is an appetizer), and the dish was perfect tasty, just the right amount with a delicious broth that was soaked up by excellent bread. The dining room is attractively appointed,... More

The moment we walked in, the aroma was our first clue it was going to be a great meal. The menu choices were varied and it was hard to select one thing. The spring roll appetizer was perfect with a chili ginger dipping sauce. We had the brisket and the fowl preparation of the night. Both excellent and just perfectly... More

Overall, the service was prompt and knowledgeable, the atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, and we very much enjoyed our meal. We started with the Ploughman’s Platter, which had a huge selection of meats, cheeses, breads, and pickles. The selections change daily and were specified on the "blackboard menu" - a paper menu of specials that is brought to the... More

Had lunch here on their side patio. Very pleasant and relaxed. Food was very tasty. Service was good although it took somewhat long for our food to be delivered.

Description
For three decades The Keystone Alley Café has continually evolved, from its start as a small coffee shop into the popular casual fine dining restaurant that you see today. The Keystone Alley Cafe was named after the well-known Keystone Bakery located on these premises earlier. The 'alley' in the current name describes the area adjacent to the restaurant used for patio dining in the summer months. The Keystone Alley Cafe strives to provide a family style menu of fresh, bold flavoured foods, while supporting locally and sustainably. Over the years, many improvements have been made, including the addition of the "Key'd Inn", a spacious two bedroom suite rental situated above the restaurant.
