Recently went for dinner to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We arrived around 5:30 on a Friday night and grabbed the last table. The service was excellent, it seems everyone that works there doesn't hesitate to stop by the tables if they notice your drinks are low or just to check up on things. At our table we had the burger... More

Based on the reviews I recently went to this restaurant to enjoy lunch on a Sunday. The atmosphere is great, the service was great, the beer was great; the food, not so great. The 2 lb wing special was not a pleasant experience. They were rubbery in texture, where is that crispy, hot, spicey, messy wing I had anticipated. There... More

Love coming here to try a tasting flight of their latest beers ... The seasonal brews are always great! Never been disappointed by the food - however probably wouldn't be my first choice for a meal out either. Great atmosphere, often great live music! Great place to go for a drink and some good conversation!

Hands down my favourite restaurant in town! the perch sandwich is awesome and the spring rolls of pulled pork are fantastic. Everything else is equally good and I have never had a bad experience here! Not a big fan of beer in general but their blueberry ale is great and they have lots of local ciders!

First and foremost; I have received consistently excellent service over the year from this establishment. Second, the beers are great along with all the other beverages they have (I am convinced a rainbow comes out of their whiskey selection) The food is always amazing and served promptly as well. Go here for a great experience every time while in Saint... More

Good place for lunch... Great food ... exceptional beer. Always find I'm fighting to get a drink at the bar forever at night though. It's unique to our city and is a downtown staple

I have been going here since it was opened, like 20 years ago. The food only got better over time. The burger and fries are my go-to. Delicious, fresh cut thin fries and I suspect they are double cooked like they do in France. The burger is the best in St. Catharines IMO. I have tried a few other things... More

Every so often, my husband and I like to go downtown and have a beer. In the summer, we sometimes walk. The only pub we go to is Merchant Ale House. Their in house beer is amazing and their food is always so good and fresh. It can get super busy and loud right before a game at the nearby... More

I have been going to the Merch for many years now - I was first introduced to it from a poetry reading night that they hosted on Tuesday nights for many years. I was also first introduced to Ironwood cider here, that they had on tap. It is amicrobrewery - they have a great variety of beers that change with... More
