I love the Gastropub genre and their pub food is so freakin good: delicious, made with fresh ingredients, and TASTY. Beer selection is great. You can even try a flight of their own brews or try one of the rotational taps by mostly Ontario craft brewers. Try and save room for the frozen peanut butter pie to split with your... More

We try a different restaurant every week since we moved here a year and a half ago. Only a handfull would we return to. This is definately one! We were seated right away, but given a choice of where. The restaurant is kind of pub like, lots of natural wood and brick, very comfortable and laid back. The waitress was... More

We went on a Friday night for dinner. Had the fish and chips. Excellent. They have so many varieties of microbreweries beer, that they definitely will have one to suit your palate. Wine came in a stemless wine glass. A definite step up from the small tumbler used in previous visits. Wine just has to be in a wine glass!... More

My wife and I found this place after our previous choices were closed due to thanksgiving. We went in expecting not much more than typical burgers and sandwiches especially with the pub like atmosphere. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the unusual menu offering much more. My wife ordered Thai noodles while I got the Indonesian dish nasi goren. She's... More

Popped in here with friends in the early afternoon for cold drinks and a snack. We were made very welcome, the service was efficient and the food tasty! We only "snacked" however, and did not have a meal. I was told by the guys in our party that the beer is excellent. I enjoyed a good, chilled glass of wine.... More

We frequent this place and love the food and the beer choices. The staff is also very friendly. We would have gone more this summer except for the fact that it's too hot inside without A/C. I realize they have the door that opens at the front but they really need to do something about the air flow. I can't... More

Went here for a date. It was busy and under staffed. The waitress was apologetic and friendly. I'd go back because of that not necessarily the food. It's trendy kinda. Good place for a date where you don't want too much quiet, first date lol.

Their Fully Loaded Nachos are to die for. It is a must order when you are with a group of friends or even with just two people. Another major plus is the fact they give you very small shots of their beer to try before you buy a pint, allows you the chance to experience what they have to offer... More

We stopped into The Old Stone on a recent trip to Peterbourgh. I don't have a negative thing to say about the place except for I wish they bottled thief beer. I would have liked to take some home. The food was delicious and the beer was fantastic as well the staff was very friendly and knowledgable. I'm very glad... More

I love that the windows/walls completely open on to the street so you can have a great patio experience. We had their Red Fife Wheat ale which was excellent and we both enjoyed our lunches. I had the sandwich of the day which was prime rib, with caramelized onions and blue cheese. Yum. My husband had Nasi Goreng which he... More
