A quick lunch of cinnamon Beaver Tails and some people watching, a winning combination. The tails were ready quickly and were fresh and delicious!

I was in Ottawa last summer with my husband by the end of our trip he broke down and tried one of these delicious Canadian Treats. I had expected that is this day and age they would have come up with some product even a precooked packaged version for people who are Gluten Intolerant like myself but it was a... More

Beaver tails with cinnamon and sugar are amazing! ByWard Market and the tulip festival locations are equally yummy.

I would not bother with a Beaver Tail. The flavours are ordinary and the dough is greasy. The Byward Market area has many better places for a sweet treat.

The iconic Beaver Tai is an indulgent snack that satisfies. Is a piece of flat oval shaped fried dough like a beaver tail with choice of different toppings. The classic is the sugar cinnamon, which was delicious and simple. The dough was crispy on the outside! I was impressed with the texture of the dough. Is a good snack to share... More

This a Canadian "must do"! I would suggest trying the original cinnamon & sugar beaver tail if it's your first time but you also got to try the more complex ones (like Oreo or Skor) --- your teeth will be shaking from the sugar but it's oh so good!!! Once you have one - you will want more!!! Make sure... More

This is probably the easiest review possible. Deep fried dough with cinnamon and sugar - how can you go wrong? Enough said.

In the Byward Market it's worth the wait to get one of these tasty treats. The variety of toppings is large ( my favorite is cinnamon sugar) and it was served with a smile. Even though the weather wasn't great there was a line up. While I'm not sure how this treat became a Canadian treat it's worth trying! PS.... More
