This is a well established Restaurant and Dining Room. Breakfast, Lunch OR Dinner are always Excellent. Out of town guests raved about this place (Nfld). Food is always fresh and well prepared. Superb presentation. (Ask for Dave - best waiter in city.) Vickies' Scooby Snack dessert- oh wow! Love the wall art! Location right in the middle of downtown district... More

I love rooms taken back to the brick - it gives such a warm glow on a wintry day. The warmth of the room is enhanced by some intriguing artwork, some of which should be in gallery. The welcome is friendly, the menu is quite extensive - I think it would be difficult not to find something on it to... More

Stopped by for lunch during the week. They have a amazing menu for vegetarians and gluten free lovers! Plenty for meat lovers as well. Enjoyed Pad Thai with gluten free pasta. It also was lactose free. They also have a summer patio which faces Princess Street. Will be heading back to sample more of their varied menu.

Had lovely evening. Good service. Even though they were very busy. Friendly and informative waiter. Let us know that service would be slow as huge convention in town. But managed drinks and appetizers quickly.

We were in Kingston last Saturday and went to Windmill's for the first time. What a wonderful experience! The food was excellent, with gluten-free options. The staff was fantastic. We'll go again for sure!

Went for breakfast with a colleague. Very friendly people (it is Canada so that's to be expected I guess!) Service was very good. Food was spot on. Home fries were crispy but not hard, just they way I prefer them. Eggs Benedict could not have been much better. Perfectly toasted English muffin, nice slab of Canadian Bacon (if you think... More

There are currently 19 operational windmills although they are now used only in emergencies when the newer systems breakdown. Well worth seeing!

We have both eaten in the restaurant and used Windmills (twice) as a caterer. When dining in, service was very good, and the meal was excellent. I had a smoked salmon platter that was amazing. On two occasions, Windmills has catered family events (1 shower and one engagement party). The food was delivered on time, there was plenty of it,... More

Upon entering this restaurant I was immediately struck by it's welcoming atmosphere. I asked the lady behind the counter if they made cappuccinos and when she said yes, I said I'll have one! We were off to a great start.
