Fabulous bakery. If you love from scratch, like real from scratch baking with the best ingredients this is the place for you. The items range from fancy to comforting and include savoury as well as sweet. You can even get vegan options. I used to...bake for Christmas but I don't bother anymore because they make everything I want and much better than I can make. Try one of their inventive lattes!More

A small bakery with numerous employees who I understand are all paid a living wage which these days is pretty impressive. The parking is limited but so far it hasn't been an issue when I have visited. If you want to treat yourself to a...tasty drink and snack, or if you are looking to take some baked goods when you visits friends, this place fits the bill well. I am a huge fan of Butter Tarts and quite simply these are the best butter tarts that I have ever tasted, an incredible pastry. The prices do reflect the quality of the food and the fact that they pay their employees a fair wage, and I think that makes it a good place to spend your money.More

Although their treats look and sound amazing, we were actually pretty disappointed by most of the things we tried. We bought an assortment and really only like the s’mores bar. Which was delicious. Everything else was dry or bland. tried. tried.

Recently stopped by on a recommendation and bought some ginger cookies and a cake. Both were superb and went back to purchase additional cookies to take on trip. Everything is freshly baked daily on premises and staff are excellent

Local fare. Amazing baked goods!!! Picked up several items. Apple turnovers, cinnamon buns, cookies, chocolate hazelnut cheesecake. OH MY! Super delicious. You can tell they take care and pride in their baking. I think the price is worth supporting local merchants. Great caramel late as...well. 2 heaping spoonfuls of caramel sauce goes in! LOVE this place and will definitely recommend to others. Great job gals :)More

Nice local bakery and coffee shoppe in Hamilton, ON with many excellent and fresh baked goods and breads. A definite stop if you are near Dundurn Street across from the Earl Kitchener Primary School. Worth the stop

I wasn't a huge fan of the baked goods I bought. They were more dry than moist, and unnecessarily pricey. Their smoothie/fruit juice wasn't even all that good, for the price you have to pay. Won't be going back here unfortunately. I always like smaller...shops, but can't do this one again.More

I live in Toronto but I drive to Hamilton just to go to this bakery. No joke. I love it! The treats are delicious and I like trying their seasonal sweets. That being said, it is not cheap and I do end up spending usually...30 to 50 bucks here. I don’t mind, but I do understand that’s on the higher end. Also some of the treats I have tried I don’t love, but most are delicious. I love their cookie sandwiches and their unicorn bars. I have tried some of their drinks and usually I don’t like them, but my partner does. So not sure if that helps! Either way I would recommend this place and we got every couple months because I love it. Definitely worth visiting. Also they support local artist which I think is great!More

Have gotten a few cookies and brownies from cake and loaf. It was good, very sweet ( I like a lot of sweet) but it’s a bit expensive. I believe it was $7.50 for a single brownie. The brownie is big. But the price was...more than I’d like to pay. Consider making them half the size for half the price. That way people can try more of what you have to offer.More
